Alma Shelley Hewatt

Mrs. Alma Shelley Hewatt, age 85 of Thomaston, died Thursday April 10, 2025, at Upson Regional Medical Center. 

Mrs. Hewatt was born on October 19, 1939, in Fulton County, to the late Jack Burton Shelley, and the late Madge Farnham Shelley.  She worked as a Registered Nurse and was of the Presbyterian Faith.  In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, Ottis Jackson Hewatt, daughter, Elizabeth Fields, brother, Richard Burton Shelly, and brother-in-law, John Thomas Brannon.

Survivors include her son, Jack (Elizabeth) Hewatt, sister, Mary Brannon, and nephew, Samuel Brannon.

Memorial services will be held on Saturday, April 26, 2025, at 11:00 a.m. from the Chapel of Coggins Funeral Home.  The family will receive friends on Saturday, April 26, 2025, from 10:00 a.m.-11:00 a.m. at Coggins Funeral Home.
