Anne Claire Moseley Graham


Anne Claire Moseley Graham died December 12, 2024, at the age of 97 in Clayton, Georgia.  She is survived by her two daughters, Monica Jacobs and Annice Page, her son-in-law Burn Page, her four grandsons, Justin and Brandon Page and Lee and Wes Jacobs, five great grandchildren, and nephews Wendell and Tony Moseley. 

 

Anne went to college at North Georgia College in Dahlonega and the University of Georgia in Athens.  At UGA she met her husband, Guy Graham.  She taught shorthand and typing for a short time before she married Guy.  They lived in Eastman, Broxton, Thomaston, and then Meansville, Georgia, for their married lives.  Anne was a homemaker and spent her time caring for her husband and two daughters, serving her church and her community, and taking care of neighbors and family.  She was ‘mama’ to many young people.  She taught Sunday School, Girls in Action, and Training Union at Meansville Baptist Church.  She was a substitute teacher at Meansville Elementary.  In 1960, she represented Pike County in the Mrs. Georgia contest. 

 

Anne spent her last four years in Tiger, Georgia, being cared for by her two daughters and Mountain View Nursing Home.  She will be missed by many.

 

Funeral services will be held on Monday, December 16, 2024, at 1 p.m., in Meansville Baptist Church, 12620 Hwy. 109, Meansville, GA. Dr. Burn Page will officiate.  Burial will follow in Fincher Memorial Cemetery in Meansville. 

 

Friends may visit the family on Monday, from 12 p.m. to 1 p.m., at the church.
