GRIFFIN CITY MANAGER CONCERNED ABOUT YOUTH GUN VIOLENCE

In alignment with our commitment to ensure a safe, well-planned community for all, I am reaching out with a heavy heart and a deep sense of urgency. Recent incidents of gun violence in the Quiet Hills neighborhood have deeply impacted our sense of safety. These tragic events have left behind not only unanswered questions, but also a community in need of healing, unity, and justice.

Your voice, your vigilance, and your partnership are more important than ever, and I am asking for your help. If you witnessed anything, heard anything, or possess any information – no matter how small – it could be vital in protecting the well-being of our families, our neighbors, and our future.

This is not solely about solving a crime. It is about reaffirming our goal to protect and enhance the quality of life for our community. It is about demonstrating that in our community, we do not stand by in silence – we come together in times of need to uplift and protect one another. It is about making sure our streets, our homes, and our families are safe.

If you have any information, please contact Investigator Hoard or Investigator Spears at 770-229-6450. You may also email Investigator Hoard at nhoard@cityofgriffin.com or Investigator Spears at jspears@cityofgriffin.com.

Your identity can remain confidential, and every effort will be made to ensure your comfort and security. We thank you for your strength, your courage, and your commitment to making Griffin a safer place for all. We are stronger together. Stand up, speak out, and bring light into this darkness.
