Ms. Mary Linda Humphrey Barronton, age 82, of Newnan, passed away February 8, 2025. She was born in Tiptonville, TN, daughter of the late Edward Russell, Nellie Lucille Bielag and Grady and Genevieve Humphrey. Mary grew up in Los Angeles.
For most of her life, she was a homemaker, but she also worked as a sales associate for K-mart in Jonesboro and Walmart in Carrollton.
Along with her parents, she was preceded in death by her children, David Barronton and Jennifer Barronton Burns, and siblings, Ray Gene Russell and Barbara Tiffany Bielagam.
She is survived by her son: Scott Barronton; brothers and sisters: William Aubrey Humphrey (Donna), Craig Burnett (Sue), Deborah Griffith, and Wayne Bielaga; several grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
A service celebrating Mary’s life will be held on Wednesday, February 12, 2025, at 1 p.m., in the chapel of Moody-Daniel Funeral Home.
Friends may visit the family on Wednesday, from 12 p.m. to 1 p.m., at the funeral home.
