SHERIFF KILGORE LOOKING FOR FAMILY OF UPSON MAN FOUND DEAD

UPSON  COUNTY  SHERIFF  DAN  KILGORE  SAYS   BIBB  COUNTY  CORONER  LEON JONES  CONTACTED  HIM  ABOUT  A  THOMASTON MAN  FOUND  DECEASED    IN  A  DOWNTOWN  MACON  PARK,  TUESDAY. SHERIFF  KILGORE  SAID  HE  IS  LOOKING  FOR  THE  FAMILY  OF  40-YEAR  OLD  CHRISTOPHER  RONALD  ARD--BELIEVED  TO  BE  FROM  UPSON COUNTY--FOUND  AT  WASHINGTON  PARK  IN  MACON.  THE  PARK  IS  NEXT  TO  THE  WASHINGTON MEMORIAL LIBRARY  AND THE  DOWNTOWN  MACON  POST OFFICE.

A PASSER-BY  NOTICED  THE  BODY  AND  NOTIFIED  POLICE.  THE  CORONER  SAID  ARD  HAD  AN  AUTOPSY  AT THE  GBI  CRIME  LAB  BUT  CAUSE OF DEATH   IS   STILL  UNDER  INVESTIGATION.  ANYONE  FAMILIAR  WITH  ARD  SHOULD  CONTACT  SHERIFF KILGORE'S  OFFICE.
