TPD is offering Reward In Robbery Investigation

$500 REWARD

On Saturday, 11/23/2024, at approximately 2:30 p.m., an unidentified suspect committed a Robbery at the Dollar General on the south side of town (1401 Hwy 19 S).


The suspect purchased a store item and then tried to shove the female store clerk out of the way when she opened the cash register. The suspect snatched an undisclosed amount of cash from the register and then fled the scene in what was reported as a black in color, older model Jeep Liberty or Jeep Patriot with no license plate attached.


The suspect is described as a black male, approximately 25-35 years old, 5’08” to 6’0” tall, and weighing approximately 200 pounds. The suspect wore sunglasses and what appeared to be a stocking cap over dreadlocks, however, no hair was seen on the provided video. The suspect appeared to have a thin goatee.


The Thomaston Police Department is offering a $500 reward for information (names, DOBs, social media accounts, photos of the suspect or vehicle, etc.) that leads to the arrest of the suspect.
