URMC's Dr. Moga Named Chief of Upson OB/GYN

Upson Regional Medical Center is pleased to announce that Christopher Nic Moga, M.D. has been named Chief of Upson OB/GYN effective April 1, 2025.
As Chief of Upson OB/GYN, Dr. Moga is responsible for all clinically and administratively
related activities of the department. He oversees observation of all individuals
with delineated clinical privileges, recommends the privileges of all individuals at initial
appointment to the department, including temporary privileges and directs review of initial
application forms and peer recommendations. He also assists in the development and
implementation of policies and procedures that guide and support the provision of services and assesses and improves the quality of care and services provided.
Dr. Moga has over 20 years of practice experience in obstetrics and gynecology. Dr. Moga earned his bachelor’s degree from the University of Pennsylvania. He earned his Doctor of Medicine at the University of Pittsburgh School of Medicine and completed his residency training in obstetrics and gynecology at Barnes-Jewish Hospital in St. Louis, Montana.
Dr. Moga is board certified by the American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology and a fellow of the American College of Obstetrics and Gynecology. Prior to joining Upson Regional Medical Center, he gained 16 years of experience practicing in the small town of New Prague, Minnesota at Mayo Clinic Health System.
